The team website is filled with information.  Here are few things that should be highlighted as the season is getting ready to get started.

1.  1st Day of Official Practice is Saturday, August 1st.   The complete practice schedule can be found HERE.

2.  What is needed for the 1st Day of Practice?

* Forms – There are five forms needed this year.   Click HERE to view them.   RUNNERS CANNOT PRACTICE BEGINNING ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st WITHOUT FORMS BEING SUBMITTED TO THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THIS PRACTICE.
* 2 x  3 lb. dumbbells
* Shoes – used only for cross country, fit by a running store is highly preferred
* Watch – simple watch that can be used as a stopwatch or have a chronograph feature

2. Parent Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5th.    At 6:30 PM in the PAC there is a parent meeting for all fall sports.   Following this meeting there is a sport specific meeting in the East Commons of CHS from 7:30 – 8:30 PM.   Please do your best to attend!

4.  Our team attends a Team Camp each year.   It is absolutely tremendous!   It is a huge highlight for the year and is where we build the chemistry needed to be successful for the season.  This year the team leaves for camp on Thursday, August 6th at 1:00 PM following team pictures.   More information can be found HERE.   We hope you will make it a priority for you or your daughter to attend.

5.  Team Fees – There are some team fees associated with being a part of the team each year.   Click HERE.

6.  Volunteer Positions Available – We do a lot of great things to create a positive atmosphere for the girls to experience but that does not happen without some support from families.   Please look at the volunteer positions open and see what you can do to help and contact Coach Dobson.   Click HERE to see the positions available.   It is expected that each family help with our largest money maker Saturday Night Lights.  This is our home cross country meet.   This year this is scheduled on Saturday, September 26th.  Please keep this day open on your calendar.
