This is the BIGGEST change from our Tuesday email. We will no longer be able to allow Varsity I boys teams to run run in the Varsity II race despite any previous discussions. The numbers in this race grew larger and this was no longer feasible and most importantly SAFE. In addition, despite the size of school we need ALL teams to cap their numbers in this race at 10 athletes per school. You may run less than 10, but you may not enter more than 10 athletes in this race. Thank you for your understanding as we needed to make these changes.
All additional athletes not competing in the races above will be placed in our high school open races. The girls are combined into ONE race but the boys open races are separated. We have between 625-675 athletes in the boys open races and we need to to disperse those races as evenly as possible. If you have 9/10 boys we would STRONGLY encourage you to run them in the 9/10 race. However, the other race is an OPEN race and not an 11/12 on purpose. If you feel it necessary to keep smaller numbers together than you may do so by entering them in the boys open race.
