On a not-so-hot day for the Hilliard Hot Summer Bash, the team did heat things up on the course.   The first girls race of the day featured the freshmen and sophomore open runners.   The team placed 2nd, just two points behind race champion – Hilliard Davidson, and were led by sophomore Leah Vanbysterveldt (6th/21:39) and Claire Maxwell (8th/21:42).

Next up, the varsity brought home the gold with a 26 pt. win over host Hilliard Davidson.   The varsity was led by 3 runners in the Top 7.   The overall race champion was Grace Kilroy (1st/18:08) followed up by Emma Bucher (3rd/18:23) and Kerri Walsh (7th/18:41). Additional top finishers were Kelli Walsh (9th/19:05), Savannah Lowe (15th/19:12), Rachel Whitehead (17th/19:16), Dalia Einstein (19:23/20th), and Sydney Khosla (19:25/21st).

The junior/senior open did not disappoint.   The team placed 3rd and had two top 10 finishes with Kalie Adrian (5th/22:34) and Maddie Shooter (10th/22:54).
