In order to earn a varsity “status” at CHS, athletes must be in the Top 22% of the team (Top 16 in 2019 with 72 total athletes on the team) during the beginning season time trial or at any cross country meet throughout the season. Athletes can also earn a varsity status by breaking 22:00 during a cross country meet. Runners have 9 opportunities to earn those varsity status positions during the season. A runner must earn 5 varsity status positions to earn a varsity letter. Congratulations to these athletes for earning their varsity letter this season!
