DYNAMITE AT DISTRICTS

It was a dynamic day for CGXC at the Cedarville University’s cross country course which played host to the Dayton District this past weekend.   The team rested six of its top seven runners and had great races from next seven athletes to qualify the team to regionals by placing 5th out of a field of 17 teams.   The top eight teams advanced.  The team was led by sophomore, Dalia Einstein who finished in 10th in 19:37.   She was followed by Nikki Jindal (15th, 20:09), Sydney Khosla (18th, 20:14), Katie Jauch (26th, 20:30), Megan Knauer (33rd, 20:50), Maddie Little (38th, 21:08), and Megan Kafka (45th, 21:34).   The team will compete on Saturday, October 28th at the Troy Regional near Hobart Arena at 12:30 PM for the opportunity to qualify for the State Meet.
