The CGXC team is responsible for providing 5 volunteers on the course for course management and 3 volunteers at the finish line to fill water cups for the GWOC Meet that Centerville is hosting on Saturday, October 11th.
COURSE MANAGEMENT VOLUNTEERS: Your role will be an assigned section of the course to mange and keep athletes safe during injury, sickness, etc. You will be given a radio to connect with the medical personnel during your shift. You will need to be able to be mobile and cover the sections of your course before, during, and after the races.
FINISH LINE WATER VOLUNTEERS: Your role will simply to keep the supply of water cups filled for finishing runners.
The below volunteers spots are NOT separated into these two areas. There are just 8 slots for each of the 3 shifts needed. Once the spots are filled I will assign the role. These can be changed once they are assigned by communicating with Coach Dobson. Thank you for your help in making it possible for us to host this meet.
